Conditioning & Functional Trainers

Full Time Employee

FCP is hiring a trainer with extensive experience in functional, resistance, and conditioning training. The ideal trainer will have expert knowledge of fitness, body mechanics, strength training, and conditioning. They can train a large range of people, from beginners to experts, and of all ages, from adolescents to those late in life.

Our trainers know how to adjust their approach, leaving no one unattended or floundering. They can attune their training to the needs of individual students. Whether handling a varied class of all types of students or providing customized one-on-one private training lessons, FCP trainers can accommodate them all.

Regardless of personal skill, FCP trainers continuously study fitness and combat sports, furthering their personal growth and extending that expertise to the benefit and education of our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate group training courses

  • Provide private one-on-one training to customers as necessary

  • Work together with all of the FCP’s trainers and instructors as a team

  • Improve the gym environment

  • Strategize on how to make the FCP experience the best possible

  • Support the other trainers and yoga instructors during their courses and look for customers who need extra support and help

  • Work with the management team to consider overall fitness program and any essential, beneficial adjustments to those programs

  • Have a positive attitude and energy that helps build customer enthusiasm

Additional Notes:

Fight Club Philippines uses combat sports to develop fitness and wellness in our community. The right trainers understand that combat sports is about continually challenging ourselves to level up and grow, both as the student and teachers. For example, our Western Boxing trainers might train at Muay Thai, not because they want to be kickboxers, but because they want to harness the power of other martial arts to become better at their craft. Or, our MMA trainers might train at Arnis (Filipino stick/knife fighting)—not because it is practical in the octagon—to gain greater perspective on the nature of self defense.

Your personal journey and self-improvement not only enhances your life, but benefits our community vicariously.
