NAGTABON BEACH
We definitely recommend exploring this pristine beach during your free time. Nagtabon Beach is a magical place that defies categorization. Just a five-minute drive from the FCP site to reach the sugar-fine sandy cove with crystal clear waters during the summer months and good waves during the surf season from October to February. It may not be particularly interesting for some, but absolutely perfect for others.
BACUNGAN / TIBAG FALLS
A new find for naturists, Bacungan Falls is a 20-minute drive from FCP to the trek point and a good 15-minute walk to reach the falls. Follow the mist through the jungle. You will be tempted by the roaring falls, making them impossible to miss. The mountains that surround you are a sight to behold and the water surrounds you like a thick fog. You can hear the rocks tumble over themselves as they drop into the pool below.
TALAUDYONG BEACH
The west coast of Palawan is perfect for beach lovers. Further north of Nagtabon Beach, roughly 41km from Puerto Princesa town proper, and a 20-minute drive from the FCP site is a stretch of white sand beach with various hangout spots to choose from, depending on your mood. Some good spots include Batchawan, Pakpak-Lauin, and Tala Beach Resort. If you’re looking for great music, fresh sea bounties and delicious cocktails, you can’t go wrong with Spaze.
BLUE MOON CAFE
If you’re looking for laid back night out with friends over beers and a game of pool, this place has a pleasantly relaxing environment perfect for blowing off steam after an active day. Just a 5-minute drive from FCP and you get to enjoy this cozy spot that offers a minibar, karaoke, and a pool table.
GOLDEN HOUR CAFE
A perfectly landscaped spot with an ambiance that exudes relaxation. They offer a selection of coffee and good food options, including the must-try Lomi soup, a type of noodle soup with a rich, thick broth and various toppings like chicharon, squid, toasted garlic, and vegetables.
YAMANG BUKID FARM (FIELD’S BOUNTY FARM)
Yamang Bukid Farm is just a 12-minute drive from FCP. Known for its organic produce and other healthy products, such as the turmeric powder, the farm-produced health products are distributed nationwide. Apart from distributing fresh and healthy products, it also aims to provide education and work for agriculturists as a Learning Site accredited by the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) of the Department of Agriculture. The farm is currently home to more than 300 farming employees with majority of which used to trade in illegal logging before engaging in farming.
SAN CARLOS RIVER CRUISE
Palawan is known for its impressive scenic views and San Carlos river is no exception to this. The six-hour cruise onboard a floating restaurant traverses through verdant mangrove forests while being serenaded by an island-vibe string performance over a sumptuous buffet lunch prepared by the locals. San Carlos River Cruise is only a quick 13-minute drive from the FCP.
MAX PALAWAN
For those looking for a more extreme outdoor experience, Mango Adventure X-treme Palawan or simply MAX Palawan, offers thrilling adventures on an off-road experience that allows you to explore more of Bacungan. Adventure seekers can enjoy an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) ride through a 300-hectare mango plantation. The off-roaders' playground has single tracks, open trails, lush green landscape, and is just 11 minutes away from FCP.
NAGTABON/BACUNGAN VIEW DECK
Nagtabon sunset is unlike any other. The sun's rays softly grazes the sea, giving it an ethereal glow that illuminates the atmosphere. Each day is a different sunset palette, providing a unique experience everyday.
